New Extruder and Shredder concept - Using methods of innovative engineering (TRIZ)
Description
Based On The Bender24601-Filament Extruder, I Have Been Tasked With The Thesis Project To Simplify The Existing System Utilizing The Engineering Method Triz Taught At Tum. There Are Some New Concepts Used In This Model. I Had Direct Access To The Predecessor Extruder From Bender24601, Which Allowed Me To Do A Profound Analysis Of Material Used And Its Corresponding Costs. The Analysis Has Been Done With The Method Triz, Which Allows To Evaluate Each Part To Identify Chances For Improvement. Due To Cost Matters I Have Re-Used The Steppermotor And Auger. The Target Was, To Reduce Machining Parts, Utilize Printed Parts As Core Components And Furthermore Increase The Output. I Was Able To Reach A Significant Cost Reduction And Increase Of Output Up To 20Cm Per Minute. The Parts Required For The Core Extrude Could Be Reduced. To Allow A Continuous Production A Filament Control System Has Been Added To Remove The Stress From The Freshly Extruded Material. This Allows A Continuous Production Of A String Without Causing Trouble You Might Have With Longer Extrusions. The Project Has Been Accompanied With The Crusher Module. I Have Also Used A New Concept Compared To Most Of The Crushers Available.
