Here Is A Travel Box For Pandemic: The Cure. We Took The Cure And Splendor On Our Family Vacation To Seattle Last Year, And While I Had A Nice 3D Printed Box For Splendor, We Just Relied On The Bag For The Cure. Since Then I'Ve Been Trying To Come Up With A Compact Travel Design For The Base Game And Then The Follow-On Expansion - Experimental Meds. I Tried 2 Or 3 Different Approaches To This Before Finally Landing On This One. The Box And Inserts Are Big Enough To Comfortably Hold Both The Base Game And The Expansion. Thru A Strange Twist Of Dice Geometry, The Space For Loose Dice Can Hold Exactly 72 Dice. The Base Game And The Experimental Meds Expansion Have A Total Of 71 Dice, So You'Ll Have An Empty Space. No, You Aren'T Missing 1 Die. Note: The Loose Dice Should Be Stacked Against The Short Side Of The Box That Has A Small Ridge Running Along It. This Ridge Is Intended To Catch The Larger Board Box That Sets On Top Of The Trays And Loose Dice. If You Don'T Have The Expansion, I'D Recommend Splitting The 7 Sets Of Dice/Meeples In The Base Game Across The Two Dice Trays. That Should Keep The Box Full, Because Each Tray Is Shorter Than The Height Of A Die, Which Makes It Easier To Remove The Dice. If There Is Too Much Of A Gap On The Loose Dice Side, You May Need Some Kind Of Filler. The "Original" Dice Tray Has Space For The Board Pegs And The 7 Dice Set. Inserting / Removing The Trays Is Best Done By Using The Tab In The Center On The Meeple Side Of A Tray. To Insert, Hold The Tray In The Palm Of Your Hand With The Meeple Side Closest To Your Wrist, And Set The Dice Side Down At An Angle Against The Box Wall That Doesn'T Have A Ridge. Hold The Tab With The Other Hand And Lower The Tab End Into The Box. To Remove, Either Use The Tab To Lift Up The Side Of The Tray And Then Slide Your Other Hand Underneath To Lift It Out, Or Use The Fact That There Is A Space For One More Die,To Slip Your Finger Under The Edge And Raise The Tray And Lift It Out.
