Description
This Is A Replacement Rod And Carriage For The Tiko 3D Printer. Ymmv Depending On How Your Printer Does. You Might Need A Raft And Supports To Help The Ball Print. Print It Flat With The Ball Socket Opening Up. This Is A Work In Progress And I Got The Best Results By Warming Up The Socket A Bit And Then Placing It On The Ball. I Then Form Fitted It While It Was Still A Little Softer For A Snug Fit. I Printed Them With Pla But I Want To Try Nylon When I Have A Chance To See If That Helps Wth The Socket. As Always This Is A Work In Progress! Print Carriage Part A Flat And Print Part B Standing On End. Part B Slides Into Part A. I Designed This In 2 Parts So That Part B Can Be Printed Out Of A Different Material Such As Nylon Or The Igus Bearing Materials That Are Available.
