Hook And Shackle Set For Tent Guy Ropes. On A Recent Camping Trip, It Began Raining As I Was Setting Up The Tent. Whilst I Was Tying Off The Guy Ropes (In The Rain), I Thought Of This Hook And Shackle Arrangement To Make Tying Off Faster. I Leave The Shackles Tied Off To The Tent Permanently And Simply Clip The Hook To The Shackle. I Haven'T Had An Opportunity To Test The Hooks And Shackle In The Outdoors Yet. However, I Am Confident That It Will Be Suitable. Update: They Work Well :) . I'M Also Testing Out My Own Flavour Of A [Guy Rope Cinch](Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2321076). Components Are Printed In Petg Which Has Excellent Strength Properties.
