Azteeg X5 Mini v3.0 case for aluminum frame

Azteeg X5 Mini v3.0 case for aluminum frame

Description

This Is A Compact Azteeg X5 Mini Case That Is Intended To Be Mounted To A 15Mm Aluminum Frame. It Has A Snap-Together Hinge, Latch And Fan Shroud. It'S Designed To Fit The Version 3.0 Board And Tries To Route Airflow Around The Sensitive Components (Stepper Drivers, Microcontroller And Mosfets). An Azteeg X5 2.0 May Fit The Case, But The Fan Shroud Will Not Properly Route The Air Around The Heatsinks. It'S Designed To Fit To A Vertical Pillar Of A Kossel-Type Delta Printer, But Should Fit Any Printer Designed For 15Mm Aluminum Extrusion. It Should Also Fit 20Mm Aluminum Extrusion, But Will Not Be Perfectly Aligned With The Extrusion. The Board Should Be Attached To The Case With 4X M3 6Mm Long Screws. The Case Can Be Attached To 1515 Aluminum Extrusion Using 2X M3 6Mm Long Screws. The Fan Cutout Takes A 40Mm Fan That Is No Larger Than 11Mm Thick. The Fan Should Be Attached Using 4X 7/32" Or 5.5Mm Self-Tapping Screws (Standard Screws That Come With Most Pc Fans). Updates (2017-03-19): I Found A Small Flaw With The Lid That Would Make It Difficult To Attach To The Case. I'Ve Updated It To Fix This. The Older Model Can Be Fixed By Removing A Small Amount Of Plastic With A Knife. I'Ve Also Uploaded A Case With The Screw Holes Moved For 2020 Extrusion, Which Takes M5 Screws Instead Of M3. I'Ve Also Removed The "Version 0" Model, Since I Reprinted My Own Case And Confirmed The Updated Models Work Well.
