Toranado NEMA14 30mm fan mount
Description
This Is A Remix Of The Fan Mount By Krwynn. While His Design Is Very Efficient, I Didn'T Like The Way It Hung Outboard To The Right. In Operation, It Would Come Very Close To Crashing Into My Right Side X Assembly. So I Opted To Use A 30Mm Fan Mounted Topside. I Made 2 Versions. Nema14A Is The One I Use Because I Found That My Assembly Had A Perfect Fit Tolerance So That I Could Just Slip The Mount Down Onto The Motor And It Fit Very Snug. Nema14B Is For Those Of You With Different Tolerances And It Should Fit Onto The Motor Like Krwynn'S Original Mount. Tested With A 4 Hour Print Of Groot And The Motor Was Barely Luke Warm. I Also Used The Fan Grill From The Toranado Fan Grill Contest Which Can Be Found Here: Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:1750609 Update 4/2/17: Added Nemaflush.Stl For The New Side/Flush Mount Toranado. It Fits Snug But This Is Because I Use The X-Carriage By Toranado: Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:1302584. I Can'T Confirm How It Will Fit Using A Different X-Carriage.
