RC10T2 Model
Description
This Is A Team Associated Rc10T2 From The Mid 90'S, One Of My Favorite Old R/C Vehicles. This Is The Model That Has Helped Me Learn How To Model In Inventor And Now Fusion 360. I Started This Model Way Back In 2010, And Completed It In About A Month. I'Ve Now Resurrected It To Help Me Learn How To Do Things In Fusion 360, And It Worked Great For That Purpose. It'S Nearly Fully Rigged... The Suspension On All 4 Corners Work And Are Limited In Travel By The Shocks, The Steering Works, But I Think It Could Use Some Limiting For The Outer Hubs, To Prevent Some Inversions That Happen Occasionally. What It Is Slightly Missing, Is Contact Sets To Enable The Gears Inside The Tranny And Motor/Main Gear. For Those That Want A Nice Big Project To Learn Joints And Assembly With In Fusion 360, I Can Upload A Version That Has No Joints Enabled, So You Can Try Your Hand At It. Most Of This Probably Isn'T Printable, But You Are More Than Welcome To Try. Hehe I Tried To Make This As Accurate And Detailed As Possible, Even Down To The Ball Bearings Inside The Tranny Diff, But There Are Some Errors. (I Challenge You To Find Them! Hehe) Technically, You Probably Could Print The Arms And Rims, And Maybe Even Some Of The Steering Arms, But The Rest Is Probably Just Too Small, Or Is Metal. I Hope By Seeing This Wonderful Model, That You Might Be Inspired To Learn How To Do Some 3D Modeling. If You Do Manage To Print Parts Of This, Please Take Some Pics And Post An "I Made One" Under This Object, I Would Really Love To See Them! Update 3-25-17: I Now Have Every Part Uploaded In Stl. Hardcore Puzzle Mode File Has Been Uploaded, Check The Render Towards The End To See What The Scattering Looks Like. You Are In For A Real Challenge There! If You Do Decide To Take A Try At This Puzzle Challenge, Please Leave A Comment About How You Did!
