Motor levelling mounts for Banggood Falcon 250/Pro
Description
These Levelling Shims Simply Screw Between The Motor And Existing Falcon 250 Motor Mount. This Allows You To Retain The Transparent Mount And The Leds Underneath. All You'Ll Need Are Some Spare M3 Screws Of Differing Lengths (6/8/10Mm). Don'T Allow The Screws To Penetrate The Motor Too Far. When You Have Done This, You'Ll Need To Recalibrate The Accelerometer For The New Level Flight. There Are Tutorials For This Online. If You Don'T Do This And Try To Fly In Beginner Mode, The Quadcopter Will Not Fly Level For You. Make Sure The Screws Are Tight And/Or Have Loctite On Them. One Of My Motors Loosened And Flew Off Into The Big Blue Yonder. Needless To Say The Quad 'Failed To Maintain A Correct Flight Path' After This Happened. Update: I Removed These To Put The Motors Back At 10 Degree Angles, Then Recalibrated The Accelerometer With The Quadcopter On A 10 Degree Incline (So The Props Are Horizontal). This Works Fine, With The Quad Able To Hover Well And Perform Well In The Air. I'Ll Design Some Horizontal, Transparent Motor Holders With Led Pockets For The Falcon 250 Pro When I Have Time.
