Laser Gimbal Mount
Description
Modified Gimbal For Sg90 Micro Servos Meant To Hold A 6Mm Laser Module. The Hole Is A Bit Big, I Secured My Laser With Hot Melt. In Fact, I Secured A Lot Of This With Hot Melt. Don'T Judge Me. Paired With An Arduino, It Makes A Fun Cat Toy. The Housing Is Meant To Hold An 1100Mah Lipo Battery Pack, A Micro-Usb Charging Board, And An Arduino Mini Pro On A Small Breadboard. The Battery Door Has A Hole For A 16Mm Latching Button As An Activation Switch. It Should Be Fairly Straightforward If You'Re Into This Sort Of Thing. If There'S Interest, I Can Write Up A Full Tutorial. Comment Me If You'D Like That! Remember To Give Your Felines A Toy They Can Catch After They Play With This So That They Get The Joy Of Catching It. Special Thanks To Deanasawr For His Original Gimbal Upon Which This Is Based, And Without Which There'S No Way I Could Have Designed This. Http://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:1809433 Update 17-04-24: I Realized I Accidentally Uploaded A Version Of The Base That Included Meshmixer Supports. I'Ve Replaced It With The Base That Has No Default Support. It Should Print With The Only Support Needed Being In The Usb Port Hole - Even That Should Be Fine With Bridging, You Might Just Need To File It Out A Bit After. I'Ve Re-Included The Meshmixer Support Version, In Case It Is Helpful To Anyone, But The File Is Clearly Labeled With Supports. You Only Need One Battery Housing, So Don'T Waste Filament And Print Both :-)
