Description
This Is A Remix Of The Sewing Box By Nicapicella. It Addresses The Issues Raised In The Original In Terms Of Sizing And Adds A Top As Well As Patterns For A Felt Lining. Text In Light Blue (Cyan) In The Files Should Be Deleted Or Ignored When Cutting. They Are Instructional Only. There Are 3 Holes In The Sewing Box Boxes File That Are Used To Size The Holes You'Ll Need. The Files Have 5Mm Holes For 1/4" Chicago Screws Sourced From Amazon. They Have A Slightly Smaller Diameter Barrel And Fit Snugly But Not Overly Tight. The 3 Holes (In Green) Are 0.2", 5Mm And 4Mm For Common Chicago Screw Diameters For 1/4" Long Screws. Cut These First And Then Adjust The Files If Needed And Then Delete Or Ignore The Green Holes. The Holes In The Sides Are Colored Red. These May Need To Be Resized If Chicago Screws With A Different Diameter Are Used. They Should Be Cut First From The Material So Their Alignment Is True When The Larger Piece'S Outline Is Cut. Self-Adhesive Felt From Craft Stores Like Michaels Works Well If Using This For A Jewelry Box Or Other Storage Where The Contents Need To Be Protected From The Wood. This Is Sized For 1/8" Nominal (3Mm) Baltic Birch Plywood. The Box Is 26" Long When Fully Opened. When Closed It Is 9.5" Long X 4.75" Wide X 5" Tall.
