Templates That I Use To Create Midori Style Notebooks. These Are Setup For A5 Inserts And If You Plan To Have A Notebook With More Than A Couple Of Inserts The 350Mm Wide Template Provides A Better Fit. I Cut The Templates From 3Mm Mdf And Then Use Them As A Template To Cut The Leather And Drill Through With A 3Mm Drill Bit To Make The Holes For The Elastic. Ideally, They Could Be Cut On A Laser, Unfortunately, My Laser Is Too Small To Cut Them. The Leather Is Then Folded And Clamped Between A Couple Of Sheets Of Mdf Or Ply To Help Keep It Closed. 2Mm Elastic Is Used To Hold The Inserts Inside The Notebook And 2.2Mm For The Outer Binding. The Pen Holder Can Be Made From A Money Clip And An Offcut Of Leather.
