3DS XL Charging Base
Description
I Designed This To Be Able To Set The 3Ds Xl Into The Charging Dock And Have It Immediately Begin Charging. Works Everytime For Mine. A Few Notes: -Tolerances Are Tight For The Width Of The Device Because They Have To Be For Alignment. Your Device Will Not Fit If You Have A Case And It May Or May Not Damage A Skin If You Have One. -Because It Is 3D Printed It Is A Little Light. Use Two Hands Or Drill 1" Holes In The Bottom And Super Glue A Whole Mess Of Weights Until It Stays. I Just Use Two Hands. -Also, Mine Is Shorter. I Thought It Would Look Nice To Have Some Of The 3Ds Sticking Out Of The Front. It Didn'T. If This Goofs The Alignment Let Me Know And I Will Fix And Reupload But With The Way It Was Modeled It Should Be Fine. -The Charging Cord Is Inserted In The Bottom And Fed Out The Back. I Tried To Make It Tall Enough To Avoid Unnecessary Strain On The Cable And It Was Enough On Mine. If It'S Not On Yours Be Smart And Either Change The Model Or Cut It Out More With A Dremel. Some Pressure Will Be Required To Insert It Into The Bottom. This Ensures That The Charger Doesn'T Get Pushed Out The Bottom When You Set Your 3Ds In. Be Gentle And Use An Allen Wrench Or Something To Push It Flush With The Bottom. -There Is A Tiny Logo That I Painstakingly Traced. Appreciate It. Unfortunately, It Doesn'T Show Very Well. If I Ever Print It Again I Will Probably Put It Loud And Proud On The Side. -Hope You Guys Like It. This Is My First Print Uploaded But Not The First Time I Have Printed My Own Designs.
