The Guy Who Lived Here Before Us Was A Smoker So We Use This Filter To Clean The Air From Cigarette Smell (We Do Not Smoke). We Use This Kind Of Filters For More Than 10 Years Now And They Work Perfectly In Our Bedroom And Living Room, Way Better Than The Very Noisy And Expensive Honeywell We Tried Before. We Use A Very Quiet Papst 4412 Fgm 12 V@6 V. It Is Running 24/7 For Several Years Now, Also In Our Bedroom. But Also A Noctua Or Any Other Quality Fan (Do Not Choose The Cheap China Stuff) Will Do. If You Want To Use It With A Flexible Silver Air Ducting, Print The Thing Twice, Connect The Ducting To The Outlet Of The Fan And Seal It With Duck Tape Or A Clamp For This Purpose. ***Dimensions:*** Height: 55 Mm Od: 125 Mm Id: 122 Mm Wall Thickness: 1.5 Mm ***Hint:*** If You Plan To Use It With An Activated Carbon Air Filter Check The Dimensions Of Your Filter Before Printing. I Use A Can-Lite 425. It Lasts For Around 2-4 Years (Depending On The Air It Has To Filter And The Humidity), Then It Starts To Smell And Needs To Be Replaced. Maybe It Is Possible To Replace The Activated Carbon Only (Available On Ebay). I Did Not Try It. And I Only Use Them For Filtering Nicotine. It Might Not Be Sufficient If You Are A Smoker And Want To Filter The Air. If You Intend To Use It For Weed, Ask Your Seller How Long They Can Be Used. We Also Have No Experience In It But If You Have Used It With Weed (Since It Is Legal In Your Location), Let The Other "Thingiverser" Know If A 12V Fan Is Enough.
