Samsung Qi wireless charging phone holder for BMW vehicles
Description
The Bmw I3 Electric Car Has 3 Little Sockets In The Front Of The Center Console Designed To Hold Detachable Cup-Holders. This Design Fits Into One Of These Sockets And Provides A Place To Set Your Cellphone Where It Will Charge Wirelessly From A Samsung Wireless Charger. The Files Here Now Fit A Samsung Note5, But I'M Working On A Version For A Note8. In Theory I Can Tweak It To Fit Any Phone. This Is A Work In Progress. The Two Pieces Don'T Fit Together All The Way, Though It Is Perfectly Strong And Functional (See Photo) There Is An Unsightly Gap Which Needs Fixed By Adding Some Tolerance To The Parts Where They Fit Together. There Is Also A Nasty Overhang Which Leaves Some Rough Strings On The Bottom Of The Base, Which Could Be Solved By Some Angling Or A Different Design For The Connection. It Does Work, Though.
