World smallest cube spinner (R188 bearing)
Description
Got A Bunch Of Those Nice R188 (12.7Mm X 6.35Mm X 4.75Mm) And A Bit Of Spare Time. As I Love Little Gadgets I Started A Project To Make A Cube Spinner Based In A Gadget I Saw Somewhere. Also Wanted It To Be Tiny And Well... Here It Is: A 24Mm Spinner Cube!! Maybe It Is Not Actually The Smallest Cube Spinner In The Universe, But At Least In My House!! All Parts Require Support (Body Part Requires Full Support). Remove Carefully The Supports, Sand It A Bit And Put A Drop Of Glue On The Outer Perimeter Of The Bearing And In The Hole And Snap Fit All Together. I Recommend To Print Parts In Different Colors, It Should Make It Look Cool. Pics Shows My First Prototype, At That Moment I Had Only One Unocuppied Printer And Was Impatient And In A Hurry To See It Working, You Know What I Mean... Enjoy. Other Thoughts: Maybe More Convenient That The Insertion Hole Has A Cube Shape To Help With The Alignment At Assembling Time. Anyway I Had No Problem To Align It, Simply Put It On A Flat Table And Press It Firmly, But Do It Before The Glue Dries, Because To Me Once I Happened To...... ;-) Update (16-Jun-2017):Added Cap1-Keyring.Stl Part To Make It Become A Keyring Or Necklace As Requested From A Friend.
