Lightpainting: Modular RGB Light Pen
Description
This Is A Tool Created For Lightpainting Photography. It Is Designed To Ease Drawing Freehand With Light In The Air Or Redraw Graffiti On A Wall, But Can Be Used For A Lot Of Other Techniques Too. It Consists Of A Controller That Is Designed To Be Strapped On The Arm And A "Pen" That Holds An Rgb Led And A Push Button To Toggle The Light. The Controller Houses An Arduino Pro Micro, Two Potentiometers To Control The Color And Brightness, A Switch To Change Mode From Dingle Color To Rainbow Mode And A Switch For Power. An External "Pen" Can Be Connected With A Molex Plug. I Included Two Versions Of The Pen So Far, A Straight One And An Angled One. I Will Probably Design A Few More Of These Pens And Add Them When The Design Is Sound. The Controller Is Designed To Use Four Aaa Rechargeable Batteries And I Used The Great Flexible Battery Holders Found Here: Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:456900 Ardiono Sketch I Used For The Controller Is Included. It Uses The Fastled Library, So If You Want To Use The Sketch You Have To Get The Library Too From Its Official Homepage. Because Of The Cad Program I Use The Axes Are Swapped, So Please Rotate The Models By -90° Around The X Axis Before Printing. The Pens Are Probably Easier To Assemble If You Cut Them In Two Halves, But I Designed Them As A Whole. It Should Be Easy To Split Into Two Halves, If Someone Needs This Done Just Let Me Know, I Can Add Models For The Halves Too.
