Raspberry Pi powered cnc.
Description
I Use A Raspberry Pi To Run An Arduino Uno With Cnc Shield To Run My 40X40Mm Root2 Cnc Machine, Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2286040. The Raspberry Pi Is Set To Run As A Headless Computer In Client And Ap Mode Simultaneously And So I Can Log On To The Pi Direct Through It'S Ap. It'S Such A Nice Compact Solution That I Decided To Mount As Much As Practical Directly To The Gantry Side Plate To Cut Down On Stepper Motor Cables. The Ip Address 192.168.2.1 Which Is The Ap Ip For Vnc Viewer Is Printed On The Top Section. I Have Also Allowed Room For An End Stop Low Pass Filter As Per This Guide. Https://Github.Com/Gnea/Grbl/Wiki/Wiring-Limit-Switches In The Bottom Section There Is Cable Spaces For 6 End Stops, A Auto Level Probe And A Soft E-Stop. In The Mid Section There Are Cable Spaces For Four Stepper Motor Cables And A Power Cable. A 60Mm Fan Is Mounted In The Top Section To Cool The Stepper Drivers. All Three Sections Are Bolted Together With 4 X 40Mm Shcs And Plain Nuts. The External Mounts Are To Suit The Side Plates Of The 40X40 Root2 Cnc. Printed In Pla With 3 Perimeters, 25% Infill, And Support On The Mid Section.
