Ultimate Prusa Print Head (Modular)

Ultimate Prusa Print Head (Modular)

Description

For The Past Two Years I Have Been Designing And Redesigning This Print Head To Be Extremely Accurate As Well As Versatile And Modular. Originally I Designed This To Fit On My Geeetech I3 Pro B (Metal Parts) But Now That I'Ve Got The Design Nailed I Modified It To Be Used With Any Prusa (Or Similar) Printer. Why This Design? This Design Is One Of The Lightest Direct Drive Print Heads Out There Without Sacrificing Usability; Here Are Some Examples: * This Print Head Is Designed Around The Idea Of Being Modular. Whether You Are Using This With The Geeetech I3 Pro B (With Metal Parts) Or You'Re Printing The Adapter Plate For A Genuine Prusa, It Only Takes 2 Screws To Remove The Print Head For Cleaning Or Replacing. * The V6 Can Reach Temps Of Up To 295C Or Even 420C With A Simple Thermocouple Upgrade! * Equally Impressive, The Snappy Titan Extruder Can Handle Just About Any Plastic You Throw At It (But It Works Much Better If You Feed The Plastic Into The Top Instead Of Practicing Your Throwing Arm). I'Ve Successfully Printed With Pla, Abs, Pet-G, Tpu, And Even Ninjaflex! * Last But Not Least... The Speed! Like I Said Earlier, This Design Is One Of The Lightest Direct Drive Systems Out There. Combine That With The Nozzle Being Super Close To The X Rails (To Lesson Any Effects Of Wobble) And You'Re Looking At Some Great Speeds! (I Usually Run With My Perimeters At 70Mm/S And My Infill At 150Mm/S) Anyone Looking To Make This Will Need Both "Fan_Mount" Files As Well As The "Fan_Duct_V1" - Also, These Print Head Files Require Two Square M4 Nuts. If You Don'T Plan On Removing The Print Head Excessively (I Do Because I'M Working On Multiple Print Heads) Then You Can Print The "Plastic_Nut" File Twice And Glue Them Into The Slots Instead Of Actual Metal Ones. Geeetech Printer (Metal Parts) ----------------------------------- Anyone Looking To Make This For Their Geeetech I3 Pro B (Metal Parts) Will Need To Download One Of The Print Head Files That Has "Metal_Carriage" In The Name. (There Is A Standard Version As Well As One For A Bl Touch And Another For An Induction Sensor) Any Other Prusa ----------------------- Anyone Looking To Make This For Any Other Prusa I3 Will Need To Print Out The "Carriage.Stl" In Order To Attach The Print Head To Your Printer. Also, Make Sure To Print Out The Appropriate Print Head File (It Must Have "Plastic_Carriage" In The Name) These Print Heads Also Come In 3 Variants: 1. Standard 2. Bltouch 3. Induction Https://Youtu.Be/Zvbm6Siv9Fo
