Lamp Base for Crinkle Lamp

This Is My Lamp Base For The Popular Crinkle Lamp (Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:676350) I Printed The Lamp And Though It Needs A Base. Only If I Could Make One Hmmmmm...... For The Leds. I Had Just Finished Adding A Lot Of Leds To My Pc And Under Mydesk. I Had A Lot Laying Around And This Seemed Like A Good Use For Them. My Soldering Skills Are Not The Best. This Are Basic 5050 Leds From Amazon. You Can Get A Kit With A 16Ft Roll Of Them For Less Than $20. I Went To Home Depot And They Had In The Bulk Section A Wire With 4 Individual Leads In It. That Cost <$3. Then I Broke Out The Old Soldering Kit. I Did My Soldering Right There On The Base But If I Was To Do It Again I Would Find A More Heat Proof Surface. As I Think Of It Probably The Glass Bed From My Printer Or A Cookie Sheet. I Hot Glued Everything After I Got All Of The Connections Running. I Can Kind Of See The Individual Leds Through The Shade But I Think That Is An Ok Trade Off For Not Recessing The Led Bed And Having To Use Supports. If I Was To Do It Again. I Would Redesign The Base With A Cylinder (Rounded Square) Recess And Ring The The Leds That Way. 10Mm Deep And Stand The Leds On End So I Only Have To Make One Connection Or Maybe None.
