F1 in Schools: Model F1 car
Description
I Designed This Model F1 Car In 2011 For A F1 In Schools Competition. I Learned A Lot From This Project. This Model Actually Won The Fastest Car In Competition, At Least For The Western Cape Of South Africa. It Never Competed Anywhere Else. How It Works: The Car Is Placed In A Shute With A Guide Wire Running Along Its Underside. A Co2 Canister Is Inserted Into The Rear Of The Car And Punctured Which Propels The Car Forward. Note: The Body Of The Car Was Originally Cnc'D And Only The Aerofoil Was 3D Printed Using A Resin-Powder-Bed-Printer.
