This Is A Low Profile Direct Drive Titan Carriage Design That Works On All 8Mm Rod Style Prusa Printers. Here Are The Main Features Of The Carriage Design; *Low Profile Design And Light Weight; The Carriage Design Was An Idea Which The Main Goal Was To Create A Low Profile Carriage That Would Only Need 2 Bearings/Bushings To Work And Still Be Strong And Accurate Enough To Put Out Good Quality Prints. To Make This Happen All The Weight And Forces Would Have To Be As Near Center On The Rods As Possible To Eliminate Any Binding Or Any Amplification In Free Play. The Total Weight Of All 3 Printed Pieces At 45% Infill Is 59.6G *Bearing Holders Are Designed To Be Used With Typical Sk8U Bearing Or An Igus Bushing. A Small Lip Is At Each End Of The Bearing Holder To Help Retain An Igus Bushing Without Needing To Put Unnecessary Amount Clamping Force To Hold Bushing In Carriage, Which Would Cause Binding. *No Ziptie Belt System Which Is Easy To Install And Extremely Secure.
