This Customizable Self-Aligning Ball-Joint-Like Mounting Bracket Allows You To Fit A Ball-Bearing, Defaults To Mr63 6X3X2.5 Miniature Bearing Into An Inner Captive Sphere Within A Mounting Bracket To Convert It Into A Self-Aligning One. Two Versions Are Provided; One With Centre Mounting-Tabs, For Versatile Mounting, And One With A Conventional Base For Mounting On A Surface. Print, Break The Tiny 0.5Mm Mounting Rods That Support The Inner Ball While Being Printed, Rotate The Ball To Reveal Them On The Inner Ball, Sand Them Away And You'Re Set. The Model Is Designed For An Mr63 Od6Mm X Id3Mm X Th2.5Mm Bearing And Is Mounted Using M3 Bolts. A Stop Is Provided To Centre The Bearing In The Centre Of The Inner Captive Sphere. This Can Be Drilled Away If You Intend To Insert A Bushing With The Same Od6Mm. Likewise, Feel Free To Drill Out The Inner Sphere To Take A Slightly Larger Bearing/Bushing To The Obvious Limitations Of The Model, But Please Bear In Mind That The Inner Sphere Is Only 10Mm In Diameter, And The Aperture Is Designed To Prevent The Inner Captive Sphere From Escaping Its Mounting. The Fusion360 Models Are Parametric And The Bearing Can Be Adjusted Accordingly, As Can The Bolt Size. Two Models Are Provided; - One With Centre-Mounted Tabs (Default Has M3 Holes). - One With Base-Mounted Tabs (Default Has M3 Holes). Customize As Appropriate, For Other Bearings With Other Mounting Bolts, Using The Fusion360 Parameters Provided.
