Watch Vise

Description

Simple Tool To Get Hold Of Your Watch When You Want To Open It. My Wife'S Son Needed A Tool To Open The Backs Of The Special Watches He Collects. The Design Is Based On A Tool That We Saw At A Cheap Chinese Webstore, Since We Didn'T Want To Wait A Month I Built It Myself With The Addition Of The Vise Holder. With In A Few Hours We Could Start Opening The Watches That Wouldn'T Allow Us To Without This Little Tool. Offcourse You Can Buy It For Cheap (Approx $ 3.00 But This Gives A Lot More Fun And Proves Again The Usefullnes Of Your 3D Printer.. ;-) The Used Bolts Are 1 Bolt M8X60 And Nut. 2 Allen Screws M5X60 And 4 M5 Nuts, Enough Springs That Fit Over The M5 Allen Screw. (I Used 2 Short Springs On Each Side) 4 M4X20 Allen Screw For The Stands Drill The Big Hole With 8Mm To Fit The M8, Dril The Other Two Holes To Fit The M5 Allen Screw, Measure First. Drill Out The 4 Or 8 Top Holes With A Drill, A Bit Smaller Than The M4 So You Can Tap Them In. Drill The 4 Pins To Fit The M4 Allen Screw. I Printed This Little Vise In Petg, This Is Nice And Really Strong. Printsettings For The Vise Clamps Were Approx 50% Infill And 4 Perimeters On All Sides. The Vise Holder Was Printed At A 30% Infill With 2 Solid Layers For Top And Bottom And 4 Perimeters On The Sides You Need To Print The Vise And Clamps 1 Time, And You Need 4 Pins To Print.
