CRC-400 Rice Cooker Lid Part

CRC-400 Rice Cooker Lid Part

Description

Fits The Cuisinart Crc-400 Rice Cooker. This Is Meant To Replace The Plastic Insert On The Lid, Which Can Crack (Mine Lasted Eight Years). Pull The Screw--It Has Probably Fallen Out By Now Which Is Why You'Re Here. You'Ll Need A Philips Screwdriver And Some Torque; This Part Doesn'T Have Threads. It Works Via Sheer Force On The Screw'S Own Threads. Consequently, Lots Of Twist Will Be Required To Get The Screw Into The Part. Having Used The Rice Cooker Normally On July 22, 2017 I Can Report That For At Least One Use, This Part Held Together. (I Believed It Was Possible Heat/Moisture From The Cooker Might Cause This Part To Fail During Cooking--This Did Not Happen). In Addition, While This Part Does Not Come In Direct Contact With Food During Cooking, Using Plastic Not Certified As Food-Safe Is Done At Your Own Risk.
