Simple Raspberry Pi 3 Mount/Adapter/Bracket
Description
I Wanted A Very Fast, Basic, Mount For My Raspberry Pi 3. While There Are Lots Of Great Cases And Enclosures On Thingiverse Already, I Was Really Excited About Getting My Pi In Place And Playing With It. After A Bit Of Design; This Is What I Came Up With. Quick, Dirty, And Basic... But It Works Great And Can Be Printed In Less Than Half An Hour! There Are Two Sets Of Mounting Holes: One To Secure The Bracket To Its New Home (I Mounted Mine Upside-Down) And Another Set To Secure The Pi To The Bracket. The First Set Of Holes Is Countersunk At 82 Degrees To Accommodate Wood Screws, The Second Set Is For Small Machine Screws. I'M Not Sure What I Used, As I Just Had Them Laying Around From An Old Television Teardown. I Think The Outside Diameter Of The Threads Was 2.5 Mm Or So. If You'D Like Better Dimensions, Just Post A Comment And I'Ll Go Make Some Better Measurements. This Was Made For A Pi 3, But Should Also Work Just Fine For A Pi 2 As Well. When Mounted, I Realized That The Overall Height Of The Device Could Be Dropped A Bit (Maybe Another .200"??). If You Observe The Same Thing And It Bugs You Enough That You'D Like A Change, Let Me Know And I'Ll Edit/Repost The .Stl File. Hope This Is Handy For You!
