PetraPrinter: Z Axis on mgn12 linear rail t8 leadscrew 2020 frame
Description
## Petraprinter: Z-Axis I Spent A Few Months On Design/Build My Own Printer. Meanwhile I Learnt The Basics Of Cad And 3D-Printing Itself. The Design Goals Were To Build A Prusa-Style Printer With An Enclosure To Print High-Temp Materials Like Abs. Although Today I Would Not Build This Machine This Way Again, There Are Still Some Interesting And Somewhat Unique Solutions That Worth Sharing. Given These Reasons, I'M Sharing The Files Component-By-Component Instead Of The Full Printer, Which Has Some Design Flaws. Whatch The Video - [Youtube Link Here] All Openscad Files Are Available On [Github](Https://Github.Com/Zsellera/Petra-Printer) The Petraprinter [Collection On Thingiverse](Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Zsellera/Collections/Petraprinter). ### About These Parts The Three Parts Are A Bottom Motor Holder, A Top 608 Bearing Holder And The Mgn12H-Mounted Carriage Itself Using 4X M3X15. The X Axis Is Joined With The Z Carriage Using Two M5X10 Cap-Headed Screws. The Carriage Houses An Ant-Backlash T8 Nut (See Pictures For Details). Note: You Can Print All Parts Without Support, But The Inner Part Of The Carriage Will Look Ugly. As That Part Has No Mechanical Function, Just Go For It.
