Anet A8 30A uprated PSU (50x150mm centres) IEC Switch mount and cover

Description

Simple Switched Iec Socket And Cover For Psu ------------------------------------------------------------ This Is A Basic Cover To Go Round The Connectors On The Bottom Of An Uprated 30A Psu For The Anet A8. These Psus Are Cheap And Readily Available On Amazon, Ebay And Other Places. Most Have M4 Mounting Holes On The Back At 50Mm (W) And 150Mm (H) Centres So Require Some New Holes To Be Drilled In The Anet Frame; Which Is Pretty Straightforward. This Cover Holds A Switched And Fused Iec Mains Socket For A Normal "Kettle Lead". It Also Has A Small Compartment Which I Am Using To Hold A Buck Converter On A Small Piece Of Vero Board Which I Am Using To Supply 5V Dc To A Raspberry Pi Zero W Which I Mounted Near The Main Board; This Lets Me Run Octoprint Etc. The Design File Is Included In Openscad. You Can Easily Change The Measurements To Suit Your Exact Psu And You Will Almost Certainly Want To Adjust The Height Of The Psu From The Base As This Will Be Entirely Dependent On Where You Drilled The New Mounting Holes For The Psu. The Slot On The Left Hand Side (As You Look At The Front) Is For The Z2 Stepper Cable And The Hole Toward The Top "Pops" Over The Button Head Of One Of The Anet A8 Frame Screws To Locate The Left Side Nice And Firmly. The Right Side Has A Hole To Match Up With An M4 Screw Hole In The Side Of The Psu. For This I Used A *Short* M4 Screw, E.G. ~5Mm.
