After "Loosing" My Flexrc Ascent In Tall Grass Several Times (Once Took 45 Minutes To Find) I Decided To Try A Loc8Tor. A Gent At My Rc Club Had Them On His Plane And Said They Do Work. So I Designed A Top Mount For The Ascent. It Sort Of Looks Like A Radar Antenna Up Top! No Adverse Affects On Flight Times Or Punch Outs. The Entire Unit With Mount And Zip Tie Is Slightly Under 10Gm. A Cheap Insurance Policy. It Has Already Paid For Itself In Lost Flight Time. I Can Locate The Downed Ascent In Tall Grass In A Minute Or Two. The Unit Has Its Own Battery So Even With A Battery Eject, It Works Perfectly.
