Motor roller blinds - alternate parts
Description
I'Ve Done These Two Rough'N'Ready Alterations To Pgote'S Original Design. First, A Longer Electronics Box To Accommodate The 12V-To-5V Regulator I Used To Power The Esp8266-Based Board (The 12V From The Original Adapter I Feed Directly To The Stepper Controller) Also, I Adjusted The Holder To Fit My Blind Bracket - It Sticks Out From Our Wall, Not Inset Into A Window Area. I Widened The Screw Tracks A Bit And Tweaked One Or Two Other Areas As Well, But Unlike The Original I'M Using Simplified 3D Software So My Changes Are Not As Professional-Looking As His Original! One Other Thing - It'S Worth Noting That I Used A Wemos D1 Mini Instead Of The Nodemcu Board He Specified. His Code Works Just Fine, It'S Really The Same Type Of Gadget. Pinouts The Same Too. You Can Get A Wemos D1 Clone On Ebay For Under $4 - And It Works - But Spring For The $8 Original, The Usb-Ttl Interface Chip Is A Lot More Reliable!
