Description

######################################################################### Update 16.09.2017 - (Regarding The Balancing Rod) ######################################################################### I Was Looking For A Better Solution For The Balancing Rod, It Seemed That A Simple Threaded M4 Rod Wasn'T Quite Doing The Job. After Reading A Bit About Magnetic Balancers It Seems That The "Lesser" Friction Of Such Devices Might Cause A Harder Time To Actually Balance Your Props. Here Is What I Did: I Went To Our Local Hardware Store And Bought A Hardened 4Mm Rod, I Then Ground And Sharpened Each End, And Made Them Spikey. (Updated Pictures Will Follow) I Then Realized That The Rod Itself Started To Get A Magnetic Polarization, I Then Figured Out The "Middle" Position And Marked It. The Way Of Balancing My Props Looks Like This: Attach The Prop To The Rod In A Way Such That The Prop Is Horizontally Aligned To The Polarization Of The Rod, Then Try To Balance. Due To The Sensitivity Of The System, Sometimes I Will Have To Rotate The Propeller A Couple Of Degree (2° ~ 5°) To Check The Horizontal Alignment. Balance The Prop If Necessary. ######################################################################### Original Post ######################################################################### Well I Was In Need For A Prop Balancer But Where To Get One Without Spending Too Much Money, And After All Since We Have A 3D Printer At Our Hands Lets Make One! Recycled Two Old Loudspeakers As Magnetic Bearing Points For The Needle, Therefore This Prop Balancer Has Become A Prop Balancer Boom Box! Woohoo Rock On While You Are Balancing Your Props.
