X Tensioner For Geared Idler Tronxy P802
Description
This Is A Redo Of My Original X-Tensioner So I Could Replace The Idler Bearing With A Geared Bearing To Reduce Belt Vibration. This Uses The Same 5Mm Hardware That Came With My Printer. This Is Made To Use A Gt2 20 Teeth Idler Pulley With A 5Mm Bore. Just Don'T Buy From Biqu! They Were Horrible. Update - 7/22/18 After Using Geared Idlers For Awhile, I Really Do Not Think They Make Any Difference In Print Quality One Way Or Another On An I3 Style Printer. Don'T Hurt, And Don'T Help. Getting Something With Decent Bearings And No Wobble Is The Important Thing! I Also Have A Corexy Which Has 4X As Many Idler Pulleys And I Have Tried Both Geared And Smooth Idlers On That. My Conclusion There Is That Smooth Idlers Result In Noticeably Less Belt Vibration And Smoother Prints. The Geared Idlers Just Didn'T Seam To Mesh Well With The Belts. So Maybe Smooth Idlers Are The Way To Go. If You Are Looking For Really Decent Idlers Check Out Winsinn. I Bought 10 Idlers From Them On Amazon And Every One Was Perfect.
