Machine Feet (50x50x20, 40mm hole spacing)
Description
Nothing Too Special Here... I Needed Some Feet To Place My 3D Printer On. I Went With A 40X40Mm Screw Spacing And 50Mm Square Size. The Screws Holes Are Counter-Bored To Allow The Socket Head Cap To Fully Submerge, And The Feet Are Thick Enough That There Is Plenty Of Holding Power. The Counter-Bore Allowed Me To Put Some Vibration Absorbing Foam Under The Foot, Attached Using Double-Sided Adhesive Dots. I Poked Some Holes Through The Foam To Allow The Screws To Be Loosened If Removal Is Required. Screw Holes Are For M5 Screws. I Treated The Edges Of The Feet With Acetone To Increase Strength. I Have Noticed A Significant Reduction In Vibration Noise Traveling Into The Floor (My Printer Is In The Second Story Of My House). I Used This Foam: Https://Www.Amazon.Com/Du-Bro-514-Protective-Foam-Rubber/Dp/B0006Natdy/Ref=Sr_1_2?Ie=Utf8&Qid=1505606380&Sr=8-2&Keywords=Du-Bro+Foam
