Printable Carriage and Rail v2.0

Description

**4/12/17 Update:** I'Ve Added An Additional Rail Design That Accommodates Certain M8 Nuts That Are Either At Or Slightly Above The Typical Maximum Width Across Flats Acceptable For The Fastener, Which Are Sold By A Number Of Online Retailers. If The Standard Rail Design Doesn'T Fit Your Hardware, Try This One Instead. I Was Going To Just Update My Old Rail Design As I Moved Forward, But Frankly, This Has Changed Too Much To Just Serve As A Simple Update. If Anyone'S Been Testing The Old Design, And Actually Made Anything Around It, This Carriage Should Work With The Old Rails, The New Rails Should Work With The Old Carriages, And Vice-Versa. However, I Don'T Think Either Were Ever Popular Enough For That To Matter Much. Anyway, I'Ve Included Some Actual Cad Files This Time Around As Well As Just Simple Stls, To Make It Easier To Integrate Into Your Own Designs. If You Have A Specific Filetype You Need, Just Let Me Know. The Rail Can Be Scaled Horizontally To Whatever Length You'D Like, And The Hexagonal Hole Accommodates M8 Nuts Perfectly. Run Them Along The Interior To Line It With An M8 Threaded Rod In Order To Mount It On Other Components. Similarly, The Carriage Operates With Six M8 Nuts, Three M8 Screws, One M3 Nut, One M3 Screw, And Three 608 Bearings. Simply Attach The Bearings To The Screws, Tighten A Nut Onto The Screws Over The Bearings To Act As A Spacer, Then Screw Those Into The Carriage, Putting Three M8 Nuts Into The Slots Provided. Adding An M3 Screw To The Top And Threading It Through The Trapped Nut Makes For A Bracing System To Move The Single Nut On The Top Up And Down To Tighten It Easily Onto The Rail, Allowing For A Tight Fit.
