Hephestos 2 - Z Rod Upper Bearing
Description
A Little Upgrade Or More A Downgrade :P For Your Hephestos 2 Printer. If Your Z Rods (Usually M5 Threaded Rods) Makes A Lot Of Noise Cause Of Heavy Wobble You Can Reduce/Eliminate It With This Upgrade. Attention!!!::: (Read Below Before Complaining) :D -You Will Loose Building Space In The Z-Axis. -Having Beared Upper Rods Will Usually Reduce Your Print Quality On Many Printers, When Not Having Any Anti-Wobble Nuts Mechanic. Usually, The Threaded Rod Wobble Will Be Compensated In The Air Without Upper Bearings. But Since The Hephestos 2 Has Fully Supported Linear Rails The X-Axis Will Stay In Place But Not The Best Solution. To Be Honest I Used Them For Like 2 Weeks. After That, I Switched From M5 Threaded Rods To Trapezoidal Threaded Rods (Tr8X1.5). There Is Little Room To Pass Through The Z Rod Nut Mount Part On The Hephestos 2. In My Case, There Is Even No Friction In Between. ______________________________________________________________________ Edit1: I Just Realized, That The Main Part Of The Actual Pic Is A Different Version Than The Uploaded Stl Files. I Cant Find It Anymore In My F360 Cloud Maybe Somewhere In The Stl Folder (Need To Have A Look There). But It Was Just A Slightly Different Version To Fit If You Have My "Hephestos 2 Reinforcement Structure / Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2510575) Installed. Edit2: I Found Them And Uploaded Them As Well. It'S Just A Little Lighter A The Top. Only Needed When You Have Already Installed The Reinforcement Structure And Too Lazy To Remove. :D
