Robo 3D R1+ Extruder Body for Flexibles
Description
Spent Some Time With The Original Robo 3D-Provided R1 Extruder File To Remove All Injection Molding Scallops As Well As Remove The Screw-Mount Holes For The Extruder, And Update The Inside Of The Base To Work With The R1+ Quick-Release Plate. This Extruder Body Should Directly Take A 4Mm Ptfe Tube Inside For Filament Path Support When Printing Flexible Filaments. Saves Drilling Your Oem Unit. Sketchup File Included. I'Ve Done A Ton Of Mesh Repairs And Stupid Triangle Removal As Well, Should Slice Much More Reliably Now. Updated 9/25/17 - Realized That I Uploaded An Older Version Of The Stl And Skp That Were Missing The Second 608 Bearing Hole. Oops! Fixed That. Also Did Some Adjustment To The Inside Of The Model To Shift The Extruder Teeth Over 1.5Mm, As There Seems To Be Some Misalignment In This Model. Updated 9/27/2017 - Forgot To Put The Zip-Tie Hole Back. It'S Back Now. Also Did A Little More Fine Tuning Of The Hexagon Heatsink Head Spacing And The Centering Of The Hob On The Extruder Bolt. I'Ve Got This Version In-Use On My 2Nd R1+ Now. Works Great. Updated 9/18/2019 - Updated Again. Further Tuned The Hob Centering.
