Description
I Remixed The Z-Axis Group Jetguy Barry Uses In His Core Xy Cube Which Is For Use In A 2020 Aluminium Extrusion Frame Type Machine In Such A Way That It Can Be Used In A (Wooden) Box Type Machine Like The Smartrapcore Printers. The Adapted Parts Work Fine And Use A 20 X 20 Mm Aluminium Corner Extrusion To Support The Printbed. To Install These Extrusions I Have Included Some Drilling Templates Which Can Be Printed Very Quickly And Help A Lot To Get The Holes Aligned. In My Case I Drilled 2.5 Mm Holes And Tapped Threads With A 3 Mm Tap To Easily Mount The Extrusions. However Drilling 3 Mm Holes And Using Nuts Instead Will Of Course Also Work. The Linear Motion Uses 10 Mm Rods, 4 Lm10Uu Bearings And A Tr8X8 Leadscrew With A Tr8X8 Nut.
