Before Anybody Starts Complaining I'M Not Affiliated To 3Dpandoras In Whatever Way. In Fact I'M Not Even Chinese, Although My German Name Is Meaningful In Cantonese. That Out Of The Way I Refer For Any Complains To This Links: Https://Www.Kickstarter.Com/Projects/1258124732/3Dpandoras-The-First-Full-Color-3D-Printer-Of-Powd/Comments The Official Site Is: Http://Www.3Dpandoras.Com/ Some Videos Can Be Found On Youtube: Https://Www.Youtube.Com/Watch?V=6W0Q7Pcouvi Description Magnet Holder... Not Tested Pictures And Comment Will Follow... My Guess Is That It'S A Unipolar Hall-Effect Sensor, But I Don'T Have The Printer Here, So It Could As Well Be Something Totally Different Like A Reed. But... The Magnet Is A 5Mm Diameter 2Mm Thick Thingy And If You Would Take A Strong Magnet With A Smaller Diameter The Magnetic Flux Will Be Bigger And More Concentrated. Thus A Better Hall-Effect. What Does This Pcb Contain? I Can'T Check The Board, But The Signal Is Most Likely Digital And The Current Should Reach A Treshold (Schmitt-Trigger) Before It Can Trigger A Transistor That In Its Place Will Close A Circuit To The Input Of Some Atmel Chip Protected By A Pull Up Resistor.
