Undercarriage Fan Shroud for Lawsys New Carriage v2 - Solidoodle
Description
Made An Underside Fan Duct That Fits Lawsy'S New Replacement Carriages - Centre Front V2. I Have An E3D V6 On My Solidoodle, I Dont Know If It Fits With Another Hot End. It Bothered Me That The Only Fan Duct Out There Was Lawsy'S Fan Duct, Which Is Made For A 30X30X5 Mm Fan, Which Is Impossible To Find. So I Made One That Can Be Adjusted To 30X30X7 Or 30X30X10. (Adjust To Desired Height Using Washers - See Pictures). I Could Not Get It To Print, So I Made A Stripped Down Version First, Printed That, Used That With A 30X30X10 Fan To Print The Actual Fan Shroud. For Your Convenience I Included The Temporary Fan Shroud As Well. It Can Be Printed Without Support Standing On The Face Were The Fan Is Mounted On It (Picture 3). I Printed This In Pla And It Works Just Fine For 50+ Print Hours And Counting. Use M3 Bolts To Secure The Fan To It, The Holes For This Are A Tight Fit, No Need For A Nut. If You Didn'T Insert A Nut Into Lawsy'S New Replacement Carriage V2, You Will Have To Take It Apart And Insert Them, This Will Not Hold Without Those Nuts (M3). ---Description Is A Work In Progress---
