Beefed up prop guard for 5 inch props
Description
Designed For Multi-Rotors That Use 5 Inch Props (Or Smaller). [250Mm Size] I Beefed Up The Prop Guards A Little Bit. I Print Them In Petg [My New Favorite Filament Type!] And They Seem To Work Quite Well. I Don'T Normally Use Prop Guards, But It Helps When I'M Giving Lessons To Friends Who Are Just Learning To Fly, Or If I'M Flying In A Place With A Lot Of Obstacles (Trees Etc.). Petg Seems To Make These Very Flexible But Sturdy Enough; And The "Beefing Up" I Did Adds Only A Few Grams To The Original. The Arms Are A Bit Thicker, Added A Middle-Ring And A Few More Thinner Arms For Stability. The Screw Holes Will Likely Need To Be *Enlarged* Slightly (A Hobby Knife Will Work Well Without Sacrificing Structural Integrity), But They Are Designed To Fit Standard 16Mmx19Mm Motor Mounting Holes. Update: ----------------------- Seems That 2 Of My Slicer Suites _Leave Out Part Of The Thin Wall_, So I Made It A Little Bit Thicker, And Added Some Holes To Reduce The Weight. I Haven'T Tried This One Yet, Let Me Know What You Think! Thanks To *Ppoinha* For The Original Design.
