Description
Overwatch Ring Box I Made For A Friend. I Used These Files As A Starting Point For My Project But Made Numerous Alterations To Accommodate The Internal Hinge, Leds And Separated Parts For Ease Of Painting: Original Design By Crain Makes:[Overwatch Loot Box](Https://Www.Myminifactory.Com/Object/3D-Print-Overwatch-Loot-Box-21670) Lid With Separated Logo Remixed By Gotbluemilk:[Overwatch Loot Box Hollow Lid](Https://Www.Thingiverse.Com/Thing:2683838) The Electronics I Used Were 4 Lilypad Brand Yellow Leds And Lilypad Brand Button Cell Holder. I Used 24Awg Stranded Wire To Wire The Leds. The Two Hinge Pins For The Hinge Of The Box Uses The Same 24Awg Wire I Mentioned Above For Wiring The Leds. Using Flexible Wire For This Doesn'T Seem To Be An Issue And Getting A More Rigid Wire Into The Hinge Is Very Difficult. It'S Pretty Cramped In There... The Ring Holder Was Printed In Clear/Natural Pla And The Rest Of The Box Was Printed In Black Pla And Then Painted. For Final Assembly I Found It Easiest To Assemble The Parts In This Order: -Attach The Hinge To The Lid. -Place The Lid Onto The Body Of The Box As If It Is Closed. Line Up And Attach The Bottom Of The Hinge To The Body Of The Box Through The Open Bottom Of The Box. -Insert The Ring Holder In Through The Bottom. (This Part Was A Very Tight Fit For Me. You May Want To Print It 1% Smaller) -Insert The Led Tray In Through The Bottom. -Push On The Bottom Of The Box. This Should Be A Nice Tight Fit. Edit May 22 2018 - Updated Wire Information
