Bag Clip
Description
I Am Taking A Printer Class And Our Assignment Is To Make A Paperclip And Post It On Thingiverse. This Turned Into More Of A Bag Clip. After Printing The Initial Test Piece, I Went Back And Widened The Gap And Strengthened The Flex Arch. The Picture Is Of The Test Piece. I Would Recommend Printing At Least 50% Fill To Assure It Is Strong Enough To Never Break. I Would Also Recommend Abs Since It Is More Flexible. It Is Roughly 3.5 Inches Long X 2 Inches Wide. If Scaling Down, Be Aware That Gap Will Be Smaller And Could Stick Together. Update: I Put A Rev C Out. Strengthening The Flex Arch Made It More Brittle And Less Flexible (Rev A). As A Result, I Went Back And Made Multiple Flex Arches To Allow Flexibility And Still Add Strength. I Also Lengthened The Nose Clamp To Make It Where It Opens With Less Pressure. You Could Lose A Finger The Way It Was. Update: Made A Rev D That Keeps The Strengthening But Makes All Flex Arches Come To A Common Point So All Will Be Flexed Closer To The Same Amount. Note: You May Need To Hold Each Side Of The Nose End And Twist Open On The End That Touches The Build Plate To Help It Open The First Time. Sometimes The Build Plate Side Is Connected. Taking A Small Screw Driver And Carefully Prying It Open Also Works.
