Description
My Design For A Webcam Holder. It Should Just Slide Onto The Metal Frame Under The Print Bed. I Designed The Camera Mount To Fit A Cheap Webcam I Had Kicking Around. I Don'T Know The Model Of Cam, But It Is Square And Has 4 Leds On It. I Had Thought The Leds Would Be Brigh Enough So I Could See The Feed With The Room Lights Off But It Was Not. I Ended Up Getting A Yorkville Music Stand Light. It Can Be Powered By Usb So It Plugs Right Into My Octopi And Give To Bright Lights An Moveable Arms. There Are Two Versions Of The Arm, I Personally Like The Short Version, Since I Don'T Print Much Tall. I Use A Couple Zip Ties On It To Secure The Webcam Cable. The Camera Mount Itself Is Just A Simple Square With A Connector From Tinkercad For Articulation. I Could See The Joint Getting Loose Over Time So I Might Glue It. I Used Some Tape Inside To Give The Camera A Bit Of Friction So It Doesn'T Fall Out. If You Have A Different Camera Feel Free To Use My Arm Design And Slap Your Own Mount On It.
