A Friend Of Mine Purchased This Metal Car At A Yard Sale. It Was Missing One Wheel But Still Looked Nice. He Brought One Of The Wheels To Me To See If I Could Print A Replacement. I Used A Profile Gauge To Copy The Profile And Then Plotted It On Graph Paper. Next I Entered The Coordinates Into Designspark And Then Did A Rotary Extrusion. After Some Minor Tweaking, I Had A Very Close Replica Of The Wheel And Hubcap. My Friend Was Thrilled With The Results And Started Cleaning The Car Up And Repainted It. Talk About A Blending Of Old And New Technology! We Think The Car Was Made In The 1930'S.
