These Lead Screw Nut Holders And X-Pulley Idler Plate Allow You To Upgrade To 8Mm Lead Screws On The Makerfarm Pegasus With Wood Motor Mounts And Carriages . The Nut Holders Are Designed To Slip Into The V-Slot Rails For Extra Torsional Stiffness And The Idler Pulley Bracket Is Notched To Give You More Clearance For The Nut Holder. Two Variations Of Each Part Are Provided: - Nut Holder (One 0.1Mm Looser In The V-Slot Area In Case It Won'T Slide In) - Idler Plate (One With A Smaller Notch In Case You Need More Clearance For X-Travel) Print In Something Rigid (Like Pla) With >75% Infill For Maximum Strength. Print Outside Perimeters First For Maximum Accuracy On Holes And The V-Slot Area. In Addition To The Idler And Z Nut-Trap Bolts Already On Your Printer, You Will Need 8X M3 X 8Mm Bolts To Secure The Lead Screw Nuts. Of Course, You'Ll Need Some 8Mm Lead Screws, Nuts, And Flex Couplings For The Motors. (I Recommend "Plum" Couplers As Pictured.) Once You'Ve Printed And Swapped Out Parts, Just Set Your New Z Steps/Mm In Your Firmware And You'Ll Be Good To Go!
