P3 Steel Y Bed Belt Tensioner And Y Bed Belt Mount. The Tensioner Should Work For Many Belt Types .. But The Y Bed Mount Is Sized Specifically For The Thicker 1.75M Thick Gt2 Belt With Steel Cording. This Type Belt Requires Running Very High Belt Tension, System Must Be Designed To Handle Those Loads. Belt Tensioner Is Designed In 2 Pieces, To Reduce Tensile Loads On Print Layers (Weak Direction). Note The Spacer That Is Used On Each End Of The 5Mm Diameter By 22Mm Long Axle Shaft. 3 Housing Screws At M3X25 .... 2 Tensioning Screws At M3X25 Or M3X30. Standard M3 Nuts Are Inserted. Note: Every Tensioner Or Y Idler Mount, Including The P3 Steel Part .. Is Not Aligned To The Y Motor Centerline .. This Tensioner I Have Designed Is Correctly Centered With The Motor, So The Belt Runs Parallel To The Y Bed And Is Evenly Spaced Over The Entire Length. Pulley Used Is A Gt2 20 Tooth Pulley With Internal 5Mm Id Ball Bearings. Y Bed Belt Mount Is For Use With Thick 1.75Mm Gt2 Steel Corded Belting, Mounted On 20 Tooth Pulleys. For A Standard P3 Steel A 15Mm Spaced Will Be Required (I Have An Extended Bed With Open Beam 15Mm Stock, Which This Part Screws To). This Belt Holder Incorporates A Belt Damper Shoe To Reduced Vibration In The Lower Return Portion Of The Belt.
