**Important:** Future Updates Will Be Posted At Prusaprinters Here: [Prusa I3 Mk2.5/S Mk3/S/+ X Carriage Back Split Upgrade](Https://Www.Prusaprinters.Org/Prints/60870-Prusa-I3-Mk25S-Mk3S-X-Carriage-Back-Split-Upgrade). **New:** *Bottom Part With Open Slot For Wires! - Can Now Be Mounted Without Disconnecting Wires From Controller Board. It Is A Little Weaker Than The Original Part But A Lot Easier To Assemble And Can Be Fittet To Printer After Assembly With Original Parts.* Split X Carriage Back Plate To Allow Belt Adjusting And Replacement **Without Disassembly** Of All Extruder Cabling! During Assembly Of My New Prusa I3 Mk3 I Discovered, That The X Carriage Backplate Completely Covered The X-Axis Belt And Prevented Adjustments Without Disassembly. All Printable Mk3 Parts Are Published By Prusa And Can Be Found On [Github Original-Prusa-I3/Printed-Parts/Stl/](Https://Github.Com/Prusa3D/Original-Prusa-I3/Tree/Mk3/Printed-Parts/Stl) I Modified The Model And Made It Two Part, With The Top Part Removable, Using The Top Two M3 Screws. Cables Is Kept In Place By The Bottom Part And The Last Three M3 Screws. For Assembly, Follow Assembly Instruction In Assembly Manual And My Photos. **How To Access The X-Axis Belt:** - Unplug Filament Sensor - Remove Top Two Back Plate Screws - Loosen Sensor Cable From Slot - Remove Top Split Part To Access Belt Reassembly In Reverse Order. The Printer Can Be Used Without The Top Part - Remember To Re-Plug Filament Sensor. **Update 2018.07.22: Tested And Fits The Mk2.5 Upgrade.** *Don'T Forget - If You Like It, Please Leave A Like Or A Tip :)*
