Declaration Class Enterprise
Description
I Wanted To Wait To Upload This Model Until I Could Find The File That Contains The .Pdf Of The Decals I Created For It. I Can'T Find The File, But If I Ever Do - I Will Upload It! Also, I Hesitated Uploading Because My Robo-3D Printer Does Not Handle Overlapping Volumes Well (Overlaps Print As Air Gaps), Of Which This Model Has Many - Especially In The Nose Portion. I Simply Couldn'T Find A Way Past This In The Printer Software. Perhaps The Overlap Problem Is My Fault, Since I Can'T Seem To Find An Easy Way To Delete The Volume Overlaps In The "Wings3D" Program I Used To Create The Model. Advice, Anyone? Personally, I Use A Resin Boat Plastic Product Called "Marine-Tex" To Fill The Gaps. It'S Incredibly Useful For This And For Filling Gaps In Other Resin Cast Models. I Now Print Exclusively In Abs, Since The "Plastruct Plastic Weld" Glue I Use Works Extremely Well With It, And Is Not Very Good With Pla. I Haven'T Tried Any Others... I Included An .Stl Of The Completed Model For Show Only - I Recommend Against Trying To Print This Version - Print The Parts And Build It! Finally, I Could Also Have Included An Assembly Sheet, But I Thinks It'S Pretty Self-Evident How It Goes Together. The Picture Shows The Completed Model, Which I Am Extraordinarily Happy With! I Made It At 1:350 Scale To Go With My Polar Lights Enterprise Model. Enjoy!
