SANIC keyboard
Description
Update: Moved The Hole For Cable Towards The Center Of The 2 Halfs. This Allows For Better Cable Management With A Teensy Or Pro Micro Inside Of It. I Designed A Tiny Split Keyboard. I Only Have The Matias Version Done, But The Cherry Mx Version Will Become Available If Anyone Shows Interest. Why Only 32 Keys? -I Only Had 32 Extra Keys From My Last Build. Won'T This Suck With Only 32 Keys? -Probably. I Designed It To Learn About Split Keyboards With Qmk Firmware. Those Columns Look Very Staggered. -They Are. People With Bigger Hands Shouldn'T Have A Problem. I Have Small Hands. They'Re Barely Too Staggered For Me. Should Be Fine Enough For Testing. Why Is It Called The Sanic Keyboard? -Gotta Go Fast. Internal Clearance For Wires, Diodes, And Controller Is ~5Mm. This Should Be Plenty If You Use A Pro Micro. I'M Pushing The Limits With A Teensy I Had Laying Around. Printed It On A Monoprice Select Mini V2 Fits Within 120X120X120 Build Volume. Might Need To Add A Few Mm To The X And Y In Your Slicer To Get It To Fit If You'Re On A Printer That Small Though. Any 8Mm M3 Screws Should Skip The Bottom Panel And Tap Into The Holes In The Top Of The Keyboard. Should Provide A Nice Tight Fit.
