When Having A Small Lathe, Chips Quite Often Fly Into The Morse Taper Of The Tailstock Causing A Bad Fit Of Tools. Leaving Something Like A Drill-Chuck Is No Option, Because It Takes Too Much Room. A Small Dead Center Is Short, But It Is A Little Bit On The Dangerous Side ;-) To Get Rid Of That Problem, I Made A Small Plug With A Fraction Of A Mt2 Taper. With My Print, It Sits Firmly Enough To Not Fall Out, But Is Yet Easy To Remove. Settings Are Not Important On This One. Use Whatever Fits Your Need. 73
