MP Select Mini V2 gantry support remix mashup for block bearing
Description
I Wanted To Be Able To Use A Single Bearing Block On The End Of My Gantry. So I Designed The Block, Then Remixed The Awesome Bracket/Side Cover Done By Jprochazka. The Holder For The Linear Rod Needed To Be Moved To Accommodate The Lack Of Offset From Using This Block Bearing Dead Center Of The Gantry. I Also Wanted To Use An 8Mm Rod Instead Of 6Mm. The Belt Idler Must Be Installed Before Attaching The Bearing To The Gantry Block. Kind Of A Pain, But How Often Do You Have To Pull The Idler Out?? I Also Wanted To Add Ventilation.. So I Mashed Up The Side Cover From Jprochazka And Jctots. You'Ll Notice In The Pictures That The Cover Is Nowhere Near The Side Of My Printer... Since I First Printed These, I Installed A Larger Print Bed Requiring Me To Move The Supports Further Out. (The Brackets For The Bed Mod Are In My Design List) I Am Working On Something That Will Replace The Threaded Rods And Mount The Mosfet Bed Controller In A More Aesthetically Pleasing Manner...
